Full-Time Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant

WHF seeks a full-time medical assistant to work 70 percent front office and 30 percent back office.Outstanding customer service, telephone and computer skills a must. A minimum of 5 years previous experience as a medical assistant is required.

Duties include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, recording vitals for each visit, ordering and stocking medical supplies, performing designated diagnostic procedures, taking patient phone calls and providing medical education. May be required to work evenings and weekends.

Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from a back office medical assistant training program and a significant number of years of experience to fulfill the essential duties stated above.

-Current CPR certification.
-Proficiency in Spanish.
-Knowledge of county programs, such as, Family PACT, CHDP and Healthy Families.
-Previous experience in a community clinic setting highly desirable.
-Salary DOE.
