Winters Healthcare welcomes new Nurse Practitioner
Winters Healthcare proudly welcomes Family Nurse Practitioner Margolo Parson to its medical team. Margolo completed her Bachelors’ degrees in International Relations and Spanish at UC Davis. She went on to earn her Masters in Science and Nursing at UC San Francisco and completed her education by spending a year abroad in Spain studying. She is married and has two children.
Margolo has a passion for cooking and gardening and enjoys spending time outdoors, preferring the desert to the mountains. She also enjoys learning and sharing her knowledge about nutrition. A knowledge that served her well as a practitioner in a weight loss center and other community medical organizations for 15 years.
She was quickly drawn to the community of Winters after her first visit. “Everyone has been so nice! I feel like it is such a cute, close knit and friendly community. Winters is so diverse. It feels very unified and meshed and I love that there is such a large Spanish speaking population.” She is also excited to be a part of the Winters Healthcare team. “I find the emphasis on team work and holistic approach to healthcare in this organization truly unique. We are working with patients on their health journey and not just telling them what to do. I look forward to immersing myself in the team approach to patient care”.
“Margolo joining our team has been a great addition to our medical team and has given us the opportunity to expand our evening hours an additional evening a week. Starting June 4th, we will open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings” says Stacey McCall, Director of Operations.
Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:00 am-9:00 pm and Wednesday, Friday 8:00 am – 5:00pm
Winters Healthcare is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing compassionate care as partners with their community to improve lives and inspire health.
